O'Keeffes Shop receives a Bridgestone review

O'Keeffe's long-established - since 1899! - general store in the triangle at the top of Montenotte Hill in Cork is one of those city stores that offer tins, jams, dry goods and cosmetics, and right beside them, without any fuss or fanfare are plonked a whole load of lreland's very best artisan food products. lt's wonderful! The yogurt is Glenilen, the apple juice is The Apple farm, the pies are Taste A Memory, the sausages are O'Flynn's, the bread is Arbutus, the coffee is Cork Coffee Roasters. It is a bit like walking into a gourmet deli like Donnybrook Fair in Dublin, except this is no deli, this is a corner shop with old flag floors, wide aisles and good food piled up here and there because why would you buy anything else but good food?
